What is the maximum number of guests that can be seated for dinner and do you one caterer or a preferred list of caterers to choose from?
We can seat up to 90 guests for a wedding reception. All catering is provided by Pelican Brewing Company with the exception of wedding cakes.
Do you offer lower rental rates for off season months and/or non-Saturday weddings and does your venue have a rain plan?
Yes, rental prices fluctuate on the time of year and day of the week! Our banquet room is indoors but still offers amazing views while inside!

How long has your venue been hosting weddings and events?
We have now been in business for 22 years and have had the privilege of hosting weddings for about 15 years.
What are a few things that make your venue unique and/or seem to attract wedding couples?
We are located ON the beach! Our restaurant and brewery have won awards all over the world. We offer world class beer, food, service, and views!
How would you describe the importance of the venue decision for couples and at what point in their wedding planning process should they be looking and booking their venue?
The venue should be the third step in booking a wedding preceded by the budget and guest list. The venue you choose should reflect the couple’s personalities and be a comforting place for their special day. I tell every couple I meet to find the venue that best suits your personality.

What is the best part about managing a wedding venue?
Playing a part in someone’s lifelong memories. They will carry the experiences of that day with them forever, and you get to be a part of that. I still tear up every time they walk down the aisle and during the first dances.
What do you find most challenging about your specific line of work or weddings in general?
Making sure that everything is perfect! I don’t want any of our couples to have a bad experience on their wedding day.

What are a few of the most important things that couples should ask their venue before booking?
Make sure that they will be able to accommodate your entire guest list comfortably and be sure to get a clear understanding of what is included in their pricing.
What is your best advice for wedding clients during their venue search or in general?
Find a place that you are comfortable in. Your venue and decorations should reflect who you are.
Is there anything else you want couples or other wedding professionals to know about you or your venue?
A lot of people know Pelican Brewing Company because of our award-winning beer or amazing restaurant and have visited Pacific City before. Many of those same people have no clue that we host beautiful weddings in that very spot!
