Description and beautiful images submitted by Casi Yost Photography
This styled shoot was really inspired by deep maroon and earthy green colors showcased in Oregon. We also were very inspired by the simple and elegant wedding dresses popping up as a result of Meghan Markle.
Abbey Road Events and their newly renovated spaces fit the style and colors we were wanting to work with. What made this shoot so fun was that we were able to feature newer vendors as well as use one of my own couples as the models.
Something that was very important for this shoot was to ensure that each vendor was showcased so that couples could truly see how talented each professional is. I was especially excited for the designs from Brittany at Letters and Dust and the beautiful rose gold desserts from Mama Jen. Our florist really blew me away because she recreated the bouquet, garland, and centerpieces exactly the way I had envisioned and how they looked on our mood board. Our MUA, Marina Haynes was spot with recreating the look on Kendyl with the images we sent her. She really understands how to apply makeup for camera and film, which we were very grateful for.
Pulling talented vendors together to make a shoot like this is definitely hard work and I couldn’t have done it without Samantha from Wanderlove Bliss. She truly is the hardest working lady I know! Now that I know each of these individuals and the venue so well, I look forward to recommending them to my couples in the future.
