*Devil’s Food is committed to doing our part to ensure a brighter future by conducting our business as sustainably as possible. We source local, seasonal produce from small purveyors. We exclusively use PNW pasture-raised meats and sustainably harvested seafood. We compost all of our production kitchen’s food scraps as well as the food scraps from our events. When we have large quantities of leftovers, we donate them to organizations that help feed the hungry. Our featured local wines are bio-dynamic and/or carbon-neutral with part of their proceeds going to the Oregon Environmental Council. In the rare event that we are asked to provide disposable serviceware, we use only compostable plant-based products. We encourage employees to bike to work and provide shower facilities. We light our kitchen and offices with natural light during daylight hours. And we have been lauded by Recycleworks and The City of Portland as a “Green Caterer”.
